Mani Ratnam

Gopala Ratnam Subramaniam is an Indian director, filmmaker, and producer.  He is one of the best Indian directors till now and is counted as a legend among all the directors.

He made his directorial debut through a popular film starring Anil Kapoor who is a Hindi and Bollywood actor. This film was released in 1983 and was a Kannada language movie. Later on, he added some of the legends movies to his list and become India’s most successful director of India.

He has made his terror trilogy which was a super hit. HE was also the director of movies like Roja, Guru, Dil Se, and many more. He has modalised Tamil Cinema. He has won many awards in his career including many Filmfare awards and National awards.

He has also won almost 12 international awards which is one of the highest by any of the directors of India.

His movie named Nayagan and featured in Times Magazine. He loves to appoint A R Rehman as music director of his films as one of his best films Roja has been named and featured in Times Magazines as top 10 best soundtrack of all times( all thanks to AR Rehman and Mani Ratnam ji).

In joining the film industry his late elder brother helped him a lot.  He keeps focus on technical al details in filmography and also popular for this. Many international newspapers and magazines have published articles for acclaiming his work
